The Future Problem Solving Program International (FPSPI) engages students in creative problem solving. Founded by creativity pioneer, Dr. E. Paul Torrance, FPSPI stimulates critical and creative thinking skills and encourages students to develop a vision for the future. FPSPI features curricular and co-curricular competitive, as well as non-competitive, activities in creative problem solving. the Future Problem Solving Program International involves over 250,000 students annually from Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, and the United States.
FPSPI Mission: To develop the ability of young people globally to design and promote positive futures using critical, creative thinking.

2008 TIPPS - Terrific Ideas of Practices & Procedures For Success in The Future Problem Solving Program International.
TIPPS was first created in 1989 to celebrate creative thinking ideas of winning FPS coaches. In 2008, coaches onc e again contributed their ideas, strategies, and techniques so that fellow coaches may enjoy some of the successes they have experienced. This is a must have for all FPS coaches! Attention High School Students:The World Future Society and the Future Problem Solvers Program are partnering on a high school essay contest for the coming school year.
Entries must be submitted electronically, and the deadline for submitting your entry is March 31, 2009.
The Spring 2008 issue of Creative Learning Today features articles on problem solving style, funding opportunities for educators, how we know creative problem solving works and more!
The April - July 2007 copy of the Creative Learning Today in which an article, Citizens of the Future World: International Outreach in the FPSP, by our very own Valerie Volk is provided.
