What types of questions are on the test?
The test is made up of the following types of questions
- Multiple choice
- Extended response
- Number grid
- Coordinate grid
What topics are on the test?
Each subject tests your skills and knowledge in different topics
- Language Arts, Reading: Read, understand, and interpret passages
- Language Arts, Writing: Proofread and edit passages and essay writing
- Mathematics: Number operations, measurement and geometry, data analysis, statistics and probability, algebra and patterns
- Science - Physics and chemistry, life science, earth and space science
- Social Studies - History, geography, civics and government, and economics
How long will it take?
Each test is a different length
- Language Arts, Reading: 65 minutes
- Language Arts, Writing: Part 1 - 75 minutes, Part 2 - 45 minutes
- Mathematics: 90 minutes
- Science: 80 minutes
- Social Studies: 70 minutes
